I'm Parrish Lewis, a passionate and introspective photographer exploring art, personal growth, and self-expression.
Growing up without much exposure to the creative community, I initially pursued a career in technology for financial stability. However, I couldn't ignore my deep yearning for more creativity in my life.
In the early years, I hustled rolls of film while balancing the pursuit of my dreams with the reality of survival. Despite the challenges, I found a way to open my own studio in Chicago. Through collaborations with musicians, entertainers, poets, and models, The Studio became a renowned creative space in the city. Artists like Kanye West, Common, Twista, and Jennifer Hudson passed through its doors, leaving an indelible mark on my journey.
In 2015, a transformative moment arrived when I received a call from Spike Lee to work as a photographer on a feature film. This opportunity changed my life and expanded my approach and perspective as a photographer. Since then, my creativity has taken me to various places worldwide, allowing me to continuously evolve and explore new horizons.
